Terms of Use
Last updated: October 2026. These are draft terms and should be reviewed by a qualified professional before you rely on them.
1. Agreement
By using Synswer you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. What Synswer does
Synswer gives short, AI-written answers to general questions. To do this it reads a few Wikipedia articles related to your question and explains them in its own words. It does not search the whole internet and it does not see live or breaking information.
3. Answers can be wrong
AI answers may be incomplete, out of date or incorrect. They are for general information only and are not medical, legal, financial or other professional advice. Check important facts with a reliable source before you act on them. The sources listed under an answer show what was read, not a guarantee that the answer is correct.
3a. Third-party content
Article excerpts come from Wikipedia and are available under its own licences. Links to Wikipedia open on its site, which we do not control.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law or help others to do so;
- attack, overload or try to bypass the security check or rate limits of the service;
- send requests automatically (bots, scrapers) without our permission;
- submit personal data about other people, or confidential information;
- use answers to harass, deceive or harm anyone.
We may limit or block access if the service is being misused.
4a. Community (Social page)
Posts and replies are public to other signed-in members, are limited to 280 characters, and must be free of profanity, slurs, harassment, threats, sexual or explicit content and links. Posts are checked automatically before they are published and appear straight away. Any member can report a post or reply, and an admin may hide or delete any post or reply. Admins may ban accounts that break these rules, and a banned account cannot post, reply or vote. You are responsible for what you post and you can delete your own posts at any time.
5. Availability
Synswer is provided as is and as available. We may change, pause or stop the service at any time, and daily usage limits apply.
6. No warranty
To the fullest extent the law allows, we give no warranty about the accuracy, reliability or availability of Synswer.
7. Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Synswer and its team are not liable for any loss or damage that results from using the service or relying on an answer.
8. Intellectual property
The Synswer name, design and software belong to us. You may use answers for your own purposes, but you are responsible for how you use them.
9. Privacy
How we handle your data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
10. Governing law
These terms, and any dispute arising from your use of Synswer, are governed by the laws of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. You agree that the courts of Trinidad and Tobago have jurisdiction over any such dispute, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have under the law of the place where you live.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. Continuing to use Synswer after a change means you accept the new terms.
12. Contact
